Applying for internships is like...buying a pair of shoes. Do you go to a shoe shop and try on as many pairs as you can in the short time you have or do you only pick one or two and take your time? Do you take your time and really see if the shoes fit or do you throw out a wide net and see what comes your way? I think the focus needed for good shoe buying is the approach that best applies to finding the right internships. I'd briefly studied HR in my Business Studies A-levels and little did I know all my misconceptions were about to be displaced.
